The latest version of JW Secure’s smart card administration tool - SmartUtil - is now available. Download page is here; binary is here.

This version includes an extended Clean Up button capability for user certificates. Clean Up will now remove empty key containers, as well as keys that don’t have certificates associated with them. Those two conditions are caused by failed certified enrollment attempts (e.g. due to network glitch, CA unavailability, etc).

This version also handles confirmation prompts more efficiently. For example, when removing a user certificate from the card, you can elect to remove the certificate from the local MY store as well. Within that prompt, you can set a checkbox and not get prompted again.

Feedback, as always, is welcome.
