Using Hyper-V to circumvent RMS
August 6, 2008
Hyper-V has a convenient feature that allows you to take a screenshot of whatever the selected guest OS is displaying in the viewer window.
Just popped into my head that that’s another way to circumvent Rights Management Services. For example, to duplicate protected emails and documents. After all, the image is copied to the host’s clipboard; the guest isn’t aware of the action, so it can’t block it. Anyone tried this?
